Engagement Photographer in Florence

This is absolutely one of the most fascinating engagement photography session I have ever done.

Patricia and Jose Luis are two nice guys from Spain who have met for the very first time in Florence. After few years Jose Luis has decided to give her the ring and engage with her for a beautiful life together. Well..actually not properly a ring…

They chose me to have some engagement photos as a memory of this important moment as they went to Florence to celebrate their engagement.
We spent an afternoon together and we had a lot of fun.

We had a walk through the streets of the old town of Florence on a warm September afternoon.  We started from Piazza Duomo after we reached the Uffizi gallery and then we decided to have a short stop along the Arno river to enjoy the view of Ponte Vecchio.

Our last stop had been the awesome roof terrace of La Terrazza sul Duomo with an unbelievable view on the Cathedral and the main square, where Jose appeared with a present for Patricia and engaged with her.

I loved to take some candid shots as the couple was walking, talking together, and staring at the sights. Sometimes I tried to give them the chance to have some romantic couple portraits on a beautiful spot. One of the things I like most is to chase the light, the right and beautiful light that came around the sunset and I gave my best.

I was struck by their complicity, mixed with their neatness and the desire to laugh and to have fun together. They showed me the love through their gestures and the cool thing is that they let me see and enter into this private space. It’s not easy and it’s always a great privilege to be able to photograph engaged couples who are so in love and leave them an indelible memory.
